History
With the rise of the Internet in the mid-90s, it became clear that banks and investment firms would need to rethink the way they were communicating with their customers.
In response, we began offering a unique service that integrated communication strategy, plain language writing, information design and effective use of technology. SimpleLogic was founded in 1997 by Catherine Gordon, a communications consultant and plain language expert working with leading financial services firms. Catherine had a clear vision for SimpleLogic: simplify and streamline the flow of information, make information easier to understand and more consistent, and take advantage of technology when it improves communication, saves money or both.
Over the years SimpleLogic has grown into a team of specialists in the areas of communication architecture, information design, plain language writing and web-based solutions.
We stay on top of changes to regulations and are mindful of technology that has an impact on the kind of communication we do. We also participate in industry groups and committees that are working to influence and improve industry standards, and we do our part to make a difference.
